The Heart that Followed Me Home

The Heart that Followed Me Home is a novel I worked on as a mentee in the 2017 cohort of Pitch Wars with my mentors, Helene Dunbar and Beth Hull. It’s a personal, #ownvoices novel set in Vancouver, British Columbia about a high school senior plagued by a demonic “dancing man” from a piece of Keith Haring art work as he faces the very real intersection where mental illness meets identity, and about the importance of learning to oneself first and foremost.

In December 2017, I signed with Lauren MacLeod at The Strothman Agency and am thoroughly pleased to be working with her on this novel and my future work.
